Miss Claddagh 2006 to be Crowned
On November 19, 2005 the Irish American League of Bayonne in New Jersey held
its 34th annual Miss Claddagh Contest. The contest is a part of the annual
dinner and dance that not only selects and crowns Miss Claddagh, but also
presents other awards to Irish men and women that have distinguished themselves
in the local area. The Irish American League of Bayonne is a social organization
for men and women of Irish heritage.
The winner in addition to the customary crown, will receive a round trip fare
to the Emerald Isle. Additionally the winner will receive a gold Irish
Claddagh Ring
